Tell us about your football history in 100 words: I started playing football when I was 5 years old with a group of friends, and instantly fell in love with the game, since then I have played Goalkeeper for various different clubs around Adelaide. At the age of thirteen I trailed for the Adelaide Blue Eagle’s Under 15’s squad, and was successful in making it into the team. The year after this at the age of 14, I was chosen by the club to play upwards another age group in the Under 17’s squad. This year, after just turning 16, I was promoted up to the number 1 goalkeeper in the Adelaide blue Eagle’s first team/ senior squad. Over many years Adelaide Blue Eagles have been consistently good, winning multiple championships and trophies, and are in the highest division possible second only to the A-League here in Australia.
Tell us about your Playing ability in 50 Words: I believe my ability is of an extremely high standard, proven by the squad I currently play for. Considering my age, it is a great achievement and a credit to my ability, to be playing for a First Team in such a high division of Football. This years Season has only just begun, with the 3rd match coming up this week. But so far I have already received best player of the game points and lead the team in supporter’s votes. Recently my individual awards have been those of; player of the year, runner-up player of the year and coach’s player award for second year running.
Why should an Academy Manager give you a football trial in 50 words: I think I should be given a trial because I believe I am the kind of player that can make it into professional football. There is also nothing I enjoy, or am more passionate about, than training as a team and playing football. I know I have the right determination, dedication and hard-working attitude that can take me all the way. I also believe that my ability is deserving of something greater than football here in Australia. There is nothing I can think of greater than playing elite Football, and would do anything to be given the opportunity to prove myself.
