Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I have played football for as long as I can remember, it is my favourite sport. My dad was a potential professional footballer, until he was injured. He now teaches me everything he has learned. I try to train by myself as best I can. I play for my school team, and have scored 5 goals. at my current club Tooting Town Elite F.C I have played in different positions: Striker, CAM, CDM, RM/LM, and have scored around 30 goals for them, and I have played for them for the past 3 years.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I have developed a good pass, short and long. I am good at close range finishing. I am very good at dribbling with both feet and can tackle quite well. With passing, I can play a simple short pass, a longer driven pass or a through ball, or even a cross to a team mate. I can find space anywhere on the pitch. My first touch is very good in most situations. I have played different attacking methods and as a CDM for my current team in the past. I felt quite comfortable playing there, but not as much as I do when I play in a more attacking position. My communication skills on the pitch have improved since I started playing for a team: I can tell team mates one different tactics I want to do on the pitch, such as a ‘one, two’ pass, or signalling when and where I want the ball to be played. At times my shooting is very good, especially when I am trying to hit the corners of the goal, so I have good accuracy. I think my close range finishing is pretty good, as I don’t mess up one on one chances with the goalkeeper. I can shoot from long distances and hit the bottom and top corners of the goal from different distances. I do have a handful of skills that I would only use in a one on one situation with a defender, or if I am trying to get out of a difficult situation.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : An Academy Director should give me a trial because I want to achieve my lifelong ambition of becoming a professional football player - I've always wanted to play in the premier league! Also, if I was given a trial it would be my first trial, so I would learn about what would happen at a trial. I could use a trial as a stepping stone to becoming a professional footballer
