Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : Trialled with Blackburn and Liverpool aged 13, signed for Blackburn for 6 months but injury lead to me leaving. Aged 14 played for Oldham schoolboys, interedt from Everton, Manchester United/City, signed for Everton. Played for a year, Rochdale signed me from them. 2 year contract from Rochdale after my first game vs Bradford City. Often played up a year. Captain from aged 15-16. Played in youth team (u18s) first at age 15. Left, turning down a scholarship to get academic qualifications aged 16. Trained with Burnley's youth team over 2012 summer and again Rochdale 2013 summer.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : Physical, strong and pacey defender. Comfortable with the ball at my feet, can dribble the ball out and comfortable passing. Have been played further up the pitch, especially as a forward to make use of physicality and aerial ability. Pace allows me to cover as a full-back also. Disciplined player and laid back.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I take in and appreciate advice, I also get on with things and do not argue with referee or coach. I have had much experience in a professional footballing environment at the highest level of youth football playing against european giants such as Ajax and Shakhtar Donetsk. Work hard in training and give my all, encouraging towards my teammates and can think efficiently for myself. (In attached picture I am at the front with the trophy after captaining Rochdale 16s to win the Rosebowl Cup)
