Write about your football history : I have played football since i was 6. Making my way up the divisions and playing a year above my age group. I started to play open age football for Blackrod Town when i turned 16 which really improved my game where i then went to Atherton LR and was offered trials for Lancashire, unfortunately i broke my foot 1 week before. From Atherton i went to Leigh Genesis where i spent about 6 months before going to Charnock Richard FC where i spent 1 year. I then had some time off from football due to work commitments and started up again playing for Horwich RMI and most recently Daisy Hill FC in the North West Counties.
Write about your Playing Ability : I am a quick, strong, athletic striker with an eye for goal. I can also play centre midfield which sometimes can suit my style of play which is more of a 'get in there' kind of style.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial : I feel i have the potential to improve and prosper at a higher level and i have had different opportunities before but either been unable to attend or had injuries which has set me back. I am willing to learn and improve my football skills and knowledge and I always think to myself im one of those who slipped through the net so to say.
