Write about your football history : Played for Derby County and my coach was Alan Travis and Robin van der laan, played for stoke city and my coaches were swifty and Eddie, played at Port Vale since I was 7 years old and left when I was 13 years old, head of development was Sevvy.Back at Stoke I was 11 years old and I won gifted and talented which was when all the schools in the district stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, they sent there best four players and I eventually won. I trained with stoke city academy and I think was Brian sharp but Steve Holland now at Chelsea assistant manager was in the process of signing me from port Vale. I think Port Vale wanted about £12 grand. I know Steve was going to sign me but within this time he had followed his own path and he signed with chelsea. I had been at Port Vale since I was 7 and I was training with rene meulensteen at Manchester United. Derby County, Stoke city broke my heart because at 7 years old I was almost 12 months behind the rest of the lads because of my late birthday although footballing wise you would never tell so they let me go and hoped to see me back soon.But I signed for Port Vale they only had one look at me and they signed me. With Derby and Manchester United it was the travelling but derby did want to sign me and Manchester United were constantly phoning to know where I was. At the age of under 14 level I had enough of port Vale so I gave it the six months required and then went a trained with crewe development squad and scored 15 goals in 8 games. I was offered the contract with the academy but I did not like it their. Later I found out the only club in my heart was stoke city where I go home and away games. Please could you give me a chance, trial or something you will not be disappointed.
Write about your Playing Ability : I have two great feet. Take really good corners and free kicks. I have great vision and good short and long range of passing and an eye for goal. I have great technique with both feet feet. Can easily beat a defender with my skills and produce a good end product.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial : Because I have two good feet and I can play anywhere in midfield, left,centre or right.great playmaker, played behind striker or with striker as a partnership, hard working, listen to what I am told to do and a great team player, eager to learn and improve as I believe everybody can improve and get better.
