Dayle had this to say about the programme:
“The Football Academy set me on my way to playing in the first team. I left Bristol City when I was 14 and played locally before joining the Academy. I really enjoyed being part of it; we won the Somerset Floodlight League and Cup and got promoted to the Conference Alliance Premier Division, which means that we are one of the top 12 non-league academies in the country “.
“I improved so much during my time in the Academy and now I am set to complete a Foundation Degree in Coaching and I have a contract with Weston FC. The Academy is stronger than ever and I would definitely recommend it if you are interested in football.”
Dayle Grubb, Weston AFC and Academy graduate.
