hello, my name is ryan brough, i am 17 years old 07/01/1995, 5 ft 8, weight 10 stone, currently studying btec sport at macmillan academy, my football experiences started at the age of 8 at my primary school green lane, i won the school league several times since then i have practiced every day on my footballing skills plus trained my physical fitness, i played for my secondary school macmillan for 5 years.
within that time i won the county cup twice at hurwoth. i also reached the last 8 of the national cup, i have never suffered any injuries. currently playing for cleveland juniors and a teesborough adult team, i have played for coulby newham, kader, thornaby and cleveland juniors.
Last year i attended a Manchester United competition at york i was chosen as the only representative from the north east to play at old trafford and carrington on champions day.
this was the best experience of my life as i got to play with and against quintin fortune i am a very dedicated athlete my strengths are agility, speed, passing, and stamina as i have just completed the coast to coast bicycle ride, i run a mile several times a week, and have played in several positions over the last few seasons such as right-back, centre midfield, right and left wing and also as centre forward.
i can use both feet very well so i feel more comfortable at centre midfield as i have a great desire to win the ball and have a good passing range especially corners. with the skills i have i coach football to younger students at macmillan academy.my cleveland juniors manager has encouraged me to get a trial as he thinks thats where i should be.
also the three top coaches at old trafford had very similar comments and told me to pursue my one and only dream of becoming a professional footballer. Thank you for reading my message i hope to hear from you soon, ryan brough.
