WITAN AFC FOOTBALL TRIALS ADULTS

We are a friendly & sociable Amateur Football Club, with a history dating back to the earliest days of organized football in 1892. Presently, we run several adult mens’ teams in the Amateur Football Combination which is very well organized and is now the biggest amateur football league in the country. We also enter teams in AFA and LOB Cup Competitions .

We play on Saturday afternoons between September and May in the South and West London regions. Our home grounds are at Barn Elms Sport Centre in Barnes, and The All England Club ground in Raynes Park.

We also run a Veterans team for those aged 35+ that plays mainly on Sundays. We organize midweek training sessions through most of the year, mainly under floodlights at the Battersea Park All Weather pitches.

We play competitively on matchdays and have won many trophies at all levels over the years. However, we believe that enjoying your football and the social occasion, (we provide food and hospitality after games for visiting teams and officials)  treating our referees and opponents with respect, is just as important as the result.
